Den Helder - Tidal Heights

Den Helder is at the entrance of the Waddenzee tidal estuary and significant changes to the tidal heights occur because of the storm. Instead of a low water the water is rising continuously. The wind prevents the water flowing out of the Waddenzee completely. When the wind has dropped there could be a very strong and extended ebb.
