With the Anglesey Sea & Surf centre as my 'base', I attended various British Canoe Union Level-1 and Level-2 coaching courses in Wales. ASSC, Surf-Lines, Plas-Y-Brenin and Plas Menai where very kind in helping me on my next step up the BCU assessor ladder. This was a 'business trip' with only little sea kayaking and a visit to the International Canoe Exhibition at the Outdoor Show at the NEC in Birmingham.
